Sync
Ableton Link keeps RUN4’s transport in time with Link-enabled apps and hardware on the same network.
Ableton Link — Tempo and beat sync · Ableton Link SDK License
Ableton Link Link is a technology by Ableton AG, Berlin, Germany. RUN4 uses the Ableton Link SDK so that its transport can stay in time with other Link-enabled applications and hardware on the same network. Link is used under the Ableton Link SDK License, which Ableton publishes together with the SDK at https://github.com/Ableton/LinkKit. "Ableton" and "Link" are trademarks of Ableton AG.
Stem separation
Splitting a sample into vocals, drums, bass and other is Deezer’s Spleeter. RUN4 bundles its 4-stems pretrained model converted to Core ML and runs it on your device — no audio is uploaded, and the feature works with no network connection.

IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHORS OR COPYRIGHT HOLDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE SOFTWARE. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- WHAT RUN4 SHIPS -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Stem Separation is Deezer's Spleeter. RUN4 bundles the 4-stems pretrained model -- vocals, drums, bass and other -- converted from the published TensorFlow weights into a Core ML model. The network architecture and the weights are Spleeter's; the conversion changes their storage format and numeric precision, not the model. Converted from Spleeter at commit c8854001ac8acad34a9bc2bd15f28475541828b1 https://github.com/deezer/spleeter Separation runs entirely on your device. No audio is uploaded, and the feature needs no network connection. The conversion is reproducible: the scripts that produced the bundled model, together with this licence, the pinned commit and the numerical comparison against the original TensorFlow output, are kept in the RUN4 source tree under tools/stem-separation. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- CITATION -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Spleeter's authors ask that work using it cite their paper: Romain Hennequin, Anis Khlif, Felix Voituret and Manuel Moussallam.
